VP Systems Architecture & Engineering Role

Responsibilities include working with a dynamic group of engineering peers architecting and delivering an exciting array of collaboration technology services to our Global internal clients. Technologies include Enterprise Instant Messaging, Unified Communications, Desktop Data and Video Conferencing. Main duties of the role will include systems architecture & engineering and some light hands on scripting/development of communications solutions per described above. Packaging of services, documentation, and handover to production support.*BS Computer Science or related required.

Hands on with some form of Enterprise Messaging solution such as MSFT Exchange, Office Communications Server, Jabber XMPP. - Demonstrable skill set in SQL, LDAP, AD, C++ and VBScript. - Familiar with MSFT IIS Server and how to configure IIS - How to work with Web Services (XML) - Knows how to construct a web page (aspx, html) - Must be fully proficient with MSFT Sharepoint 2003 - Must be fully proficient in leveraging Office 2003. Microsoft Active Directory education - Language: C++ - Language: C# - MSFT Sharepoint 2007 - Creation of light weight Office 2003 macros. - Understanding of Exchange 2003. - Jabber XMPP - MSFT Office Communications Server 2007. It is essential that the candidate has at least 3 years experience packaging solutions for the Wintel platform, is familiar enough with Visual Studio to be able to script their way around, develop light weight .NET applications, and comfortable with there way around a UNIX OS (for example logging into UNIX/LINUX OS, running routine health checks). 3 years experience with MSFT Active Directory and LDAP is required. Candidate must be able to know how to integrate AD and LDAP for applications. Candidate must also have 3 years experience working with Web Services such as IIS and/or SunWebServer or Apache.

Position requires 5 years in an enterprise architecting, engineering and delivery of infrastructure/application development services of 20,000+ employees. - At least 2 years in a production support role. - Prior experience working in small teams. Experience with an agile product delivery methodology - Experience with ITIL
