Active Directory Global Senior Engineer/ Hands-On Team Supervisor/ Permanent Manage 5 Engineers
Active Directory Guru Consultant needed as well.
Responsible for architecting Active Directory and LDAP infrastructure and dependent infrastructure solutions like Identity and Access Management, and assisting in the successful implementation of Active Directory applications like Exchange. The Directory Senior Engineer acts as a technology leader in the area of Directory Services for the firm and to serve as a global technical lead and technical interface. He/She will have supervisory responsibilities. Solid oral and written communication and organizational skills, and be comfortable working in a geographically diverse environment.
Principal Responsibilities:
Develops specific technology strategies for Directory Services that provide competitive business advantages to the firm-works with technology groups to implement strategies including Forest/Domain consolidation.
Architects Directory solutions for Windows/Unix/Linux platforms. Assists in identifying and implementing Directory management and audit/change management solutions for Directory Services
Architects Directory integration solutions for various OS platforms and business affiliates
Architects the next generation Directory Infrastructure to address the needs of Identity and Access management solutions and also Directory dependent applications like Exchange, PKI infrastructure etc
Prepares and communicates cost/benefit and resource utilization analyses for potential projects to aide in project prioritization
Remains current on industry and technology trends through reference materials, Web-based information, external partners and vendors, internal networking and attendance at financial services and technical forums, seminars, and training
Responsible for delivery projects
Delivers presentations to educate both technology and business division personnel regarding client needs, specific client strategies, industry trends and status of technology projects and services
Experience/Skills:
Strong analytical, critical, and strategic thinking skills
In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP technologies on Windows and Unix/Linux.
In-depth Architectural skills in the area of Identity and Access management and Directory management solutions
Strong skills in the areas of MSSQL Server/DTS, MIIS is preferable
Any certification such as MCP/MCSE would be advantageous.
Will need experience with WINS,DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Active Directory disaster recovery, Trusts, ADAM, AD Sites, AD Subnets, Kerberos, Time Synchronization, Schema updates,
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer service orientation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to make presentations and convey technical and design strategies top down and bottom up
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities while meeting deadlines
Light to medium development background
Eight to Ten years of previous experience in information technology with major emphasis on Microsoft Infrastructure solutions like Active Directory and other LDAP
